Laser Tattoo Removal

Tattoos always seem like a good idea at the time, but often lose appeal after some time. Whether the tattoo be something acquired in your younger years that just no longer suits, to a more recent piece of body art that doesn’t seem to be boding well, Eternel Clinic can help you.

Being an elite laser tattoo removal clinic in Dubai, our Specialist Dermatologist specializes in efficiently and effectively removing tattoos, no matter how deep, old or big they may be.

Our doctor can determine the number of sessions you will need for your specific tattoo during your one-on-one consultation and assessment.

How it works:

Tattoos are created when ink is injected deep within layers of the skin’s dermis. The dermis layer does not shed, making the appearance of tattoos permanent. In order to remove any tattoo, the skin cells that hold the ink need to be targeted. Using advanced Spectra Q-Switched laser technology, wavelength heat is applied at the optimum level to target and break down the ink. Through the body’s natural healing process, the broken ink particles are then removed naturally over time. The superior quality of the laser technology means that ink of all ages and colours can be removed with minimal side-effects.

Results & Recovery:

The procedure is completely safe, but is not entirely pain free due to the heat treatment from the lasers. You can expect to see immediate results, however a course of treatments are usually necessary to completely remove tattoos. While your tattoo will be nearly completely removed, there may still be some slight traces of it depending on how high the quality of the ink was.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of treatments required will depend largely on your skin type, age, colour, along with the depth of the tattoo, age of the tattoo, and the type of ink used for the tattoo. During a consultation, one of our experienced laser practitioners will examine and determine the number of treatments required for the best results.

What if I have a large tattoo, or one with many colors?

The size and color of the tattoo are two among many factors considered before determining the specifics of your treatment plan. Depending on the type of tattoo you have, you may need multiple treatments, spread across a number of sessions to completely remove any trace of your tattoo.

During your consultation at Eternel Clinic, the area will be examined and a patch test may be conducted (if necessary), after which the specifics of your treatment plan are determined for the best results.

Is laser tattoo removal painful?

Due to the heat intensity of the laser, the treatment is often considered uncomfortable. The level of discomfort experienced will depend on your pain threshold, and the area in which the tattoo is being removed. Your pain levels will be monitored throughout the treatment and if necessary, a patch test can be conducted prior to help ease any anxiety.

I have a tattoo on my face, can it be treated?

At Eternel Clinic, we use the Spectra Q-Switched laser which is considered the safest and most advance advanced laser technology in the market. It is highly effective for use on any area of the skin, and is perfectly safe for use on the face.
